Overview

On the ground floor you can show/buy your tickets, and enjoy the 12 meter long mural depicting Haarlem around 1800. The guide takes you up into the mill. The millstones and the hoist to bring up the sacks of grain are on the fifth floor. The ground grain is put into flour sacks on the fourth floor. Outside on the platform you can view the wings/sails up close. The view over Haarlem and the ships on the Spaarne is fantastic.

The guided tour takes 45-60 minutes, including up and down the stairs. Tours start on the full hour and half hour.

Visiting hours
From March 1st to October 31st we are open Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday 10:30-17:00, and Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 13:00-17:00. Last bookable tour 16:00h.

From November 1st to Februari 28/29 we are open Saturday and Sunday 10:30-16:30, and Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 13:00-16:30. Last bookable tour 15:30h.

Depending on the season and the weather with a Combi 2 in 1 ticket from Luxe Sloepen you can step on board next to the mill for a 50-minute boat trip through Haarlem's canals and river Spaarne, before or after the tour in the mill.
